We bought a 2014 THOS ACE in October. We were told that if we gave them 5 stars we would get free stuff at the store on the day we received our rv.

Here it is January and we dont have our title or our license plates and they are out. We cannot drive our rv due to this.

We have called and were told we would get an email with a new license plate. We havent received the email a week later.

Poor service from MHSRV Alavardo TX

MHSRV of Alvarado, Texas, knowingly sold and allowed an unsafe vehicle to leave their lot. Based on their own declaration to me when I asked if MHSRV performed a full check of all RVs, including the Thor Outlaw motor home we purchased at the point of receipt from the manufacturer, and prior to the sale and release of all RVs, including the Thor Outlaw we purchased, they definitively stated, 'Yes, those are definitely performed.' The Thor Outlaw motor home sold to us and allowed to leave your facility did not have a working left tail, brake, and turn signal and functional and safe gas lines and valves.

If their records show any indication of a passing result, then those records have been falsified since the defects identified were present prior to turning the RV over to us. When we finally received a response from a lower-level service rep, he stated that we will need to directly address this problem with the manufacturer. MHSRV completely washed their hands of any accountability or responsibility for the unsafe RV they sold. The walk-through of the RV performed with a Sales Representative prior to taking possession of the RV was very minimal, somewhat uninformative, and did not include any elements of equipment safety validation.

These couple of issues were just the start of a long list of defects we found upon taking possession of the RV. There was a list of 10+ defects, including a Check Engine warning light that was identified shortly after departing from MHSRV and presumably before leaving the MHSRV location, for which they told us to just take it to a Ford dealer after getting to OKC. We were so uncomfortable with the safety of the RV that we had Bob Hurley RV in Oklahoma City perform a full all points (SWAG) inspection of the RV. The inspection identified a leaking propane valve and pinched gas line at the cooktop, which rendered the cooktop inoperable.

These were two significant safety defects that should have been identified by MHSRV prior to sale and unquestionably present prior to the sale of this RV to us. We were without our RV for almost 2 months while all the defective items were being fixed.

We have not yet received a word from the MHSRV General Manager/Sales Director or the Service Director on these issues, nor from Blue Compass RV, their parent company. I would never purchase again from MHSRV, or any Blue Compass RV dealership and I strongly recommend against anyone else buying from them.

They take your insurance money then hold your RV for 6 months not responding. Then tell you its ready and you drive 5 hours for a terrible paint job.

Then you come back two months later and its worse than it was the last time. They give us an inflated bill and bad work.

This place is a total sham! Buyer beware!!!

Terrible service for warranty work. I didn't buy my mh to work on it, but to enjoy the outdoors and the people we meet .

I wish I had not bought one but from what I've read the service departments at most rv dealerships are Terrible.

It does no good to complain about it as the manufacturer is not concerned about how the dealerships treat customers as long as sales are good. SHAME ON YOU THOR AND MHSRV.

Warning people of deceptive sales practices

We bought a class B motor home from Motor Home Specials . I ask if it had a generator on it .

It didnt. I was told by the salesman Osker Marks I didnt need it because it had this great lithium battery system that would run the AC for 6 hours and when the batteries got to 40% the motor would start. It had a separate 280 alternator that charge the batteries. After I got home with it I tried it .

It ran for 1 hour . Motor never started. I called them they told me it would be November before they could look at it . After arguing for a while I got it in in 2 weeks.

They keep it for a week. Then called me and told me I didnt have that system. I was told sorry we thought they all had that great system. Told me I could trade it in on a used one but I would have to take a 35000.00 dollar loss because they need to make money off that RV when they resold it .

They would have to make money on the use one I was looking at . I have since learned that is just the way they do business. They service department want even call me back to answer questions.

Stay away from this place they are crooks. Steve

Ordered that MH. Got call that they couldnt supply and offered another more expensive model. I found out they could supply my original request and the refused.

Threaten to sue me for breach of contract. Dont deal is my opinion

Had problems with the unit before we even got off the Lot. Couldnt leave know.

Windshield wiper took two days for this repair. Washing machine drain line cut into drivers seat crooked step coming In broken,main power cord inverter box electrical wiring total burnt up. Constantly kicking breakers. Generator.

Alarm stays on. Kicking breakers so Generator cant be used. Went to the factory got everything repaired. Now Im feeling.

Slake in the rear end . Now slide wont go back in stuck in RVpark

Horrible experience- frauds

Do not buy from this company. Please save yourself the stress and aggravation.

Go anywhere else! Purchased an Rv from them on 11/4 . We could not get there before 10/31 so they threatened us and told us they needed this closed by the end of October. We told them too bad were not closing or signing anything h til we arrive.

Had it inspected and it needed a list of repairs, new tires, radio not working, back up cameras not working, leak in shower repaired, leak in washing machine repaired, a new recliner completely peeled. ( which we paid for) They did not want to pay for any repairs and negotiated that if we pay a portion they would Cover the rest. We arrived, the front passenger captain chair was slightly peeling. New tires were put on.

We were told we would have a 2 -3 hour walkthrough with the service guy.

The service guy barely spoke english and spent 15 minutes with us. We started her up and none of the power outlets /usbs worked in the front dashboard. Service man had to look into and it was a fuse that was loose( this should have been looked at prior). The chair we order in dark they installed the wrong color.

We ordered a new mattress, they knew we were traveling 24 hours home , i told them a week prior that we wanted the new mattress. They did not put it in until 5 mins before we left, it was compressed and takes 8 hours to open and decompress, so we had could not sleep on it. We get in the road which was a very damaged road and noticed the coach rattling, we assumed it was the road. It was a long day so we stop at a hotel for the night.

(Cant sleep on mattress yet). Next day we hit the road and as soon as we get on the highway we notice the coach is rattling, everything is rattling, the blinds, the cabinets, the steering wheel the doors. We call our salesman Graham and ask if the tires were balanced, he says no sir we do not balance tires here we just pit them on! We could not drive over 50 mph, the whole coach shook and rattled and drove horribly.

After sitting in the seat for a few hours , when we got up the whole seat peeled off on our clothes. We arrived home, had to replace tires, the tires they put on werent balanced or even the right kind of tires. None of the repairs were made , shower leaks, washer leaks. The rattling caused radio to fall off, traveling with no back or side cameras for 24 hours.

We immediately contacted them and said we wanted a resolution, no return calls. Finally on 11/7 we hear back from a man named Giff Akins, Director Customer Relations, RV Retailer, LLC. They pass theyre problems on to him. We told him we do not want this motorhome.

It is unsafe. Next day still no answer, and Giff stated he did not hear from anyone. More emails, calls sent to managers, finance managers, salesman, and

Giff. Contacted Aqua Finance manager who contacted them and they Giff called us today 11/14/22.

Shocked that noone has called us yet. Had a conference call with Giff Atkins, Mark Griffith, General Manager. Claims the tires were balanced off of the coach. (They were never balanced) there was zero cooperation, the manager told us we could trade it but he wouldnt give us what we paid for it, that if we traded it it would be $40,000 less than what we paid.

Unbelievable. We are hiring an attorney, we have contacted the attorney general, stopped checks and in touch with finance company to cancel financing. They are frauds, they are not true to their word and *** I wish we saw all the other reviews before coming here!

Go anywhere else but here. This is a complete nightmare.

Being lied to about warranty work

Took the coach in for warranty work. After fighting over 2 weeks for a return call to schedule service.

They made their list for warranty work, stated they would submit it to Thor for approval within 48 hours.

2 weeks go by with no updates, so on the third week I called Thor to check the status, they stated they had NOT received anything for warranty!!!

So this dealership lies. There good for sales but suck beyond words for service.

SALES VISIT - NEW

What a disaster. Still getting a Class C Thor Sprinter fixed after 9 months.

They dont answer the phone. They cut ceiling lights the the day we left, because we couldnt switch them off. The slide out motor didnt work. The black box flush valve didnt work.

We had over (are you ready?) 40 repairs and were still not done. We received a damaged front wheel well ( scratches and two tiny dents) that they blamed on Thor. Thor has the delivery inspection receipt verifying they received the van with no damage or repairs necessary -they lied in an email blaming Thor for damage, but offered $500 anyway. We are disgusted beyond words.

I have had numerous discussions with Thor about this fraud. The manufacturer should eliminate the dealership from the purchasing process. Imagine 40 problems with your new Honda? What would that do to Hondas reputation?

They do not respond to emails or phone calls. Absolute, total clown show. These frauds really should be shut down. I could go on and on.

In the end, Thor has spent approximately $10,000 to make repairs and I still have body damage. Caveat Emptor!!!

The most dishonest, poorly run, terrible customer service experience we have every experienced. From the owner/CEO down to the minions, they could care less about customer service and communication.

Once the sale was final and they had their money and moved the unit it was pulling teeth to get repair work done and to get updates on the repair work.

We had several issues just 22 days into ownership of a Super C Entegra Accodale no one cared or made an attempt to get anything done in a timely manner. We are now going to pick up our Accolade after 56 days of being at their dealership with work still incomplete.
